Welcome to the new Purina Mills Horse Ambassadors Newsletter. Our goal is to bring you news on the Purina Horse Ambassadors and their activities and accomplishments worldwide and put relevant equine resources at your fingertips.

Whether they're competing in the international arena or at your local horse show, you have the opportunity to meet some of the most powerful equine athletes and their riders in the industry.  You will have access to their recommendations and information on the great results they get with Purina brands. 

Our Purina Horse Ambassadors cover the gamut of the equine industry -- clinicians, team ropers, barrel racers, reiners, endurance riders, jumpers and much more.  They are world-reknown for their expertise in their individual endeavors.

WEG will follow the traditional schedule with vaulting, followed by cross country and the jumping competition, deviating slightly as it moves into week two with the addition of Para-dressage and para-equestrian events. Also included in the second week is additional jumping as well as driving and reining through the end of the World Equestrian Games.

Aaron Vale Wins $25,000 HITS Grand Prize
Aaron Vale made his triumphant return to the winners’ circle as he and Paparazzi won the $25,000 HITS Grand Prize. To read all about it, click here.

USEF WEG Trials Standings At The 2010 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival

Solem Soars! Callan Solem and Allison win the $50,000 Ring Power Grand Prize

USEF Names Horse/Rider Combinations to Show Jumping Long List for 2010
The United States Equestrian Federation’s Ad Hoc Committee has approved 15 horse/rider combinations to the Show Jumping Long List for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Todd Minikus-$30,000 Winner at WEG Trial #4
Todd Minikus of Loxahatchee, FL, on Pavarotti, came home the fastest in the Time First Round format with no faults in USEF WEG Trial #4, winning him a $30,000 prize. Laura Kraut and Cedric Race to $150,000 CN U.S. Open Victory
Laura Kraut and Cedric, when it was their turn to compete, put in the fastest round of their stellar career together. They raced across the finish line in 48.01 seconds. To read about the victory, click here.

Kraut With Cedric and Madden With Danny Boy Top Winners in CN U.S. Open Grand Prix

John French Wins Another $10,000 Devoucoux Hunter Derby
John French captured the two top places in the class to win the Devoucoux Hunter Derby, concluding a fabulous week during Desert Circuit V at the HITS Desert Horse Park in Thermal, California. $75,000 Fidelity Investments Grand Prix-Laura Kraut Third Place Winner

Laura Kraut and Tortola Speed to Top of $8,000 Sentient
Laura Kraut and Tortola took over the top spot in the $8,000 Sentient Jet 1.45 Jumpers with the fastest speed round over the second place finishers. More on Laura’s win by clicking here. Equis World Dressage Masters Grand Prix
This Grand Prix was the first act of a replay of the 2009 World Cup Final with the same results. The three top finishers were from the USA, Holland and Germany. Ashley Holzer and Pop Art of Canada who lives in New York and Canada scored over 70 per cent. For full details on the event, click here.

Canadian Olympians Inch Closer to Pfizer $1 Million Grand Prix
